The first picture above shows Avritt sitting on the pool deck waiting to take part in a relay race. The bottom picture shows him on the diving board waiting to jump in. His season is going well. He has participated in four meets so far, and swims in about 4 events each. His events are 50 m backstroke (his best event), 50 m freestyle, and two relays (4 by 50 m) in which he swims either breaststroke, backstroke, or freestyle, depending on the relay.
